Pastor Mike Gilbert is the founder of Lion Shadow and a devoted follower of Jesus Christ with a passion for helping men become the leaders God has called them to be. As a disabled Army and Navy veteran, he has experienced both the visible and invisible battles that many men face.
Those experiences have shaped his conviction that true strength is found not in self-reliance, but in complete surrender to Christ.
Through Lion Shadow, Pastor Mike is committed to equipping men with sound biblical teaching, practical discipleship, and authentic accountability. His vision is to build a worldwide brotherhood of Christian men who lead with humility, serve with integrity, protect their families, and boldly live out their faith in every area of life.
Pastor Mike's mission is simple: to point men to Jesus Christ, strengthen them through God's Word, and inspire them to leave a lasting legacy of faith for future generations.
How Did We Get Here?
Lion Shadow was born from a simple conviction: too many men are fighting life's greatest battles alone. In a culture that often celebrates comfort over character and compromise over conviction, the need for authentic Christian brotherhood has never been greater.
What began as a burden to encourage and equip men through God's Word grew into a mission to build a worldwide community of men committed to following Jesus Christ with courage, discipline, and integrity. Lion Shadow exists to remind every man that he was created with purpose, called to lead with humility, and never intended to walk his journey alone.
Today, Lion Shadow continues to grow as a brotherhood where men sharpen one another, strengthen their faith, and answer God's call to become the husbands, fathers, leaders, and servants He has created them to be.
